God's Grandeur
I think this is the first poem I ever committed to memory. I remember learning it while I was studying in Austria, and there was this path I would walk through to the grocery store, shaded beautifully by trees. I remember thinking how memorizing poetry made it really go in to the center of my being more than just reading it.

This is disturbing to some, but I have always loved it! A wonderful tall tale, and captures something of the quirky dark humor I knew growing up as a Canadian.
